I didn't realize the easy part about being an author was the writing of the book. The hard part is all the peripheral requirements needed to make the book a success. And the money you'll waste getting there.

Then I'm reminded of the old adage "It takes money to make money"

Due Diligence

I now realized you have to do comparative shopping before you buy a design, higher and illustrator, editor, or website platform.

Now I see why successful authors have teams that handle that aspect of this business for them.

When I reach that level I will do.
