Step 4 The Naming Process

Now it's time to show how Gaberdeen got her Frankenstina nickname. I also wanted to show her unbelievable strength by having her perform some act that no normal child or even a grown man could do. But I also had laid the foundation to explain why she was able to do this feat at such a young age in chapter one of the novel.

I also continue to show the mental and emotional abuse she endures at the hand of her father. Most kids look forward to their birthdays, but how can you do so when the day you were born your mom died? That is the constant reminder of her father and of course he takes it out on Gaberdeen.

At the end of this chapter you start to wonder how much more can she take before she kills this son of a b@#$@#
